Yuskavage introduces collage as a new medium while deepening her long engagement with color field painting through trompe-l'oeil devices that paradoxically emphasize flatness. This tenth solo show with Zwirner marks twenty years of representation and arrives on the heels of a major Morgan Library retrospective and a new Phaidon monograph.

What to expect

Large-scale oil paintings (up to 96 x 120 inches) depicting recursive studio interiors with figures and empty canvases, alongside smaller intimate works and a series of mixed-media collages on green Color-aid paper using pastel, gouache, egg tempera, and pasted elements.
