Laguna's first U.S. solo show presents work made after her recent move from a suburban Rio home to a denser urban apartment, triggering compositional shifts that layer windows, doors, and tiles with organic forms—a direct response to changing surroundings and proximity to neighbors.

What to expect

Acrylic paintings from two ongoing series: larger Paisagem (Landscape) works and smaller Pequenos formatos (Small formats) pieces, all created within the past year. The works use color blocking and geometric forms interspersed with trees, flowers, and human figures, addressing the persistence of nature amid urban development.
