The first museum survey of Rivera (1938–2021), a founding member of En Foco and one of the few women photographers in the Nuyorican Movement. Her Latino Portrait series brought everyday Puerto Ricans to the NYC subway system; this retrospective pairs vintage prints with never-before-seen archive materials and a new Aperture monograph.

Portraits, documentary photographs, experimental self-portraits, and images of New York's subway and graffiti scenes from the late 1970s–1990s, displayed across multiple galleries with installation views showing large-scale presentation of her work.
